Envisioned by cousins Pierluigi Pernazza, owner of Sagrantino’s Restaurant in Guadalajara, MX; the leading (Mexican/Italian fusion) dining experience in the city. So fine is this restaurant it is the sole caterer to the President of Mexico when he visits; Jaime Villalobos Sauza 5th generation Master Distiller of fine Tequilas, and a wine sommelier respected internationally as the past President of ONSOM, the Organization of Sommeliers in Mexico, Tequilcello combines their experience into an amazing gift for us all to enjoy.
Pierluigi and Jaime were enjoying dinner together when Pier suggested that they enjoy a glass of his restaurant’ house limoncello; one sip and Jaime knew immediately that 100% de agave Tequila would be a perfect base for limoncello!

Founded in 2013 by Pierluigi Pernazza and Jaime Villalobos Sauza, solely to bring superior naturally flavored Tequilas as liqueurs to the world.
They use a rustic limoncello recipe handed down through Pierluigi’s family in Italy and the Tequilas of excellence that Jaime’s family has crafted since the early 1800’s.
Both Pierluigi and Jaime only serve their family and friends “the best” and it shows in the discriminating and demanding manner by which they craft Tequilcello.
By selecting the lemons and the purist sugar cane that can be sourced in Mexico; then hand peeling the fruit so only that top layer containing the fragrant and flavorful essential oils are used, then combining these elements with pure 100% de agave Tequila, Tequilcello elevates the simple limoncello to an extraordinary libation.
The true sign of an all-natural limoncello is “Il Collarino” (the little collar). This is formed by the citrus oils that gather at the top of the bottle and of course it is always present within Tequilcello.
